The AAHHP is not
organized for profit and shall function as a recognized
related organization of the American Podiatric Medical
Association.
1. To aid and
assist members of the American Podiatric Medical
Association in achieving and maintaining staff membership
in hospitals and health care organizations.
2. To
encourage and support the advancement of podiatric medical
practice in hospitals, health care institutions and health
care organizations.
3. To educate its members in
appropriate and pertinent hospital, health care institutions
and health care organizations.
4. To educate
its members in the legal and ethical aspects of hospital
staff, health care institutions, and health care
organizations.
5. In concert with the
American Podiatric Medical Association, to promote
interdisciplinary understanding and cooperation as it relates
to health care institutions and
organizations.
6. To foster the establishment of
Podiatric services in health care institutions.
7. To aid Podiatrists in attaining and
devolping hospital and institutional affliation.
8. To promote and provide educational programs
in hospitals, health institutions and organizations as it
pertains to foot health and podiatric medicine.
9. To encourage its members to participate in
relevant research in health care institutions.
10. To render appropriate assistance in the
establishment of approved post-operative podiatric training
program in hospitals and health care institutions.
