Standing Committees shall be :

a) Membership
b) Liason:APMA - Other speciality colleges
c) Planning
d) Constitution
e) Finance and Budget
f) Grievance and Ethics

1. All committees shall be appointed by the President except where otherwise designated by these By-Laws.

2. Special committees must be appointed by the president at his discretion and with the approval of the Board of Directors.

1. Develop and conduct membership drives.

2. To verify all applications for membership.

This committee shall consist of the President and Executive Director and is charged with maintaining liaison between the APMA or its affiliates as well as with accredited podiatric medical colleges.

Shall consist of the Board of Directors with the President elect as its Chairman. The committee shall from time to time, review the objectives of AAHHP and suggest those changes which could be of benefit to the organization.

Evaluate and present recommendations on proposed amendments to the constitution and By-Laws.

1. This committee shall be composed of the Executive Director,the President-Elect and two other members appointed by the president.This committee shall elect
the Chairman from its membership.

2. It shall be the duty of this committee to audit the finacial records of this Association.

1. This committee shall attempt to adjudicate all grievances
or matters of ethics, which must be filed in writing.

2. Grievances shall be acted upon in a manner prescribed
by the state in which the grievances have occured.

3. Persons involved may have recourse to the Board of Directors ,if appeal is desired, who shall hold a hearing.
Each party shall have transmitted to it a written copy of the charges together with a notice of the time and place of the hearing. Such notice is to be sent by registered or certified mail addressed to the party's last known address and mailed not less than thirty(30) days prior to the date of hearing.The respondent shall have the right of access to any evidence to be considered against him and further shall have the right of counsel to appear on his behalf. Any conclusons or decisions on this hearing shall be reduced in writing and shall contain a copy of charges, a statement of the facts, the conclusion or decision reached and penalty recommended,if any.

Copies of any conclusion or decision of this hearing shall be furnised to all parties concerned and shall be presented to the membership at the next annual meeting which may accept,reject,or modify the findings of this hearing by a two/thirds(2/3) majority of the membership present and voting. Any decision by the membership will be final and shall be final and conclusive.
