1. The
annual meeting shall be held at a site selected by the
Executive Director with the approval of the Board of
Directors. This provision shall not take effect until the
year 2001.
2. Special
meetings may be called by the President or any two(2) duly
elected officers or by a majority of the Board of Directors.
3. The
AAHP officers, the Chairman of the Board of Directors and
the Chairman of each Committeeshall,at the annual meeting,
submit written reports of their activities of the past year,
along with their recommendations and suggestions.A copy of
said report shall be sent to the Executive Director
fifteen(15) days before the Annual meeting in the event of
absence of the reporter from said
meeting. Back

1. Whereas
frequent or peroidic general Board of Directors meetings
would be impractical due to geographically widespread AAHP
membership, a procedure for "mail ballot" voting is
incorporated in these By-Laws.
2. The
Board of Directors may be sent a special mailing if
information on an issue or issues to be voted upon with a
ballot included.This mail ballot may be taken without an
annual or special meeting.Passage of a proposed issue requires
that a majority of the ballots received by the executive
director within 30 days are marked as to indicate approval.
3. The
completed ballot shall be sent to the Executive Director and a
duplicate to the president.A majority vote of all members of
the Board of Directors shall be necessary for passage of a
motion by mail ballot.
4. The use
of telephone conference calls for purposes of Board of
Directors meeting is acceptable providing that a majority of
members of the Board of Directors are present for such
conference
calls.

deliberations of this organization, it's Board of Directors
and committies shall be governed by the parlimentary rules and
usage contained in the current edition of Roberts Rules of
Order, Newly Revised" when not in conflict with the
Constitution and By-Laws of AAHP and
APMA. Back

AAHP shall assure that the activities of the organization are
undertaken without any discrimination with regard to race,
color, or age, religious creed, national origin, ancestry,
physical handicap, medical condition, marital status of sex.
